Maryland Int'l Raceway Paves
the Way Into the Future
August 2, 2005
On Sunday July 31,
2005, while there were still Racing Rigs in the pits and cars
going down the track during the Computech Systems Raider E.T.
Challenge Series, Royce Miller and a hardworking crew started
paving the upper pits at Maryland Int'l Raceway.
When it’s all said and done, over 3,000 tons of asphalt will
have been laid. The hope is that by this time next year, every
racer at MIR will be able to park on pavement.
As stated by Royce Miller, “This will bring the pit area up to
the same high standard as the rest of the facility. All racers
from our weekly events to the touring participants of the Torco
Race Fuels Presidents Cup Nationals deserve the best pit parking
possible.”
We encourage you to check our website often at www.mirdrag.com
for new pictures and updates regarding this latest phase of
facility growth here at MIR.
