Welcome to Maryland International
Raceway's Legends Hall of Fame - an
elite group of the persons who had
the most impact on the Southern
Maryland racing facility in its long
and storied career.
Each year's Legends will be
recognized and awarded at the
"Legends at Budds Creek" nostalgia
event. Only five MIR Legends are
selected each year; and they are
selected by a panel of pro and
sportsman racers, race promoters,
historians, and photojournalists
that nominate, discuss, and finally,
select the MIR Legends. The MIR
Legends panel creates a long list of
possible candidates, and then
chooses the 5 annual inductees,
proudly announced here:
