Construction
of MIR's Modern
New Restrooms
and the Classy
New "Hot Rodz
Diner" is Well
Underway at
Budds Creek
February 14, 2008
The exciting new look of the MIR pit
area is quickly taking shape as
construction continues on the new
and modern, brightly-lit,
4,000-square-foot two building
restroom and concession project.
Racers and fans are sure to enjoy
not only the fresh and bold design
of the new “Hot Rodz Diner”, but
also its expanded menu featuring new
signature items and minimized wait
times. This scenic building sports a
classic reminiscent flavor with a
stainless steel backdrop showing off
its bright 24’ long multi-color neon
lights!
The new, well-illuminated restrooms
are very spacious (triple the size
of the previous restrooms) and
designed with an upscale appearance.
All equipment will feature infrared
sensors that provide a safe and
sanitary “hands-off” approach to
restrooms. In addition, the main
entrance to both restrooms will now
conveniently face the midway behind
the grandstands; and they provide
accessibility for people with
disabilities. Johnny-B-Clean
Custodial Services will continue to
service all restrooms during each
and every event.
With approximately just two more
months of construction remaining on
this $700,000 milestone in MIR’s
history, we hope you join our
excitement in welcoming its highly
anticipated debut coming soon in
mid-April!
