The racing community
has lost a true lion of a racer and
a role model for us all to look up
to. Bob Taylor, of “Tempest Tantrum”
fame, lost his battle with brain
cancer on Tuesday, April 29th, at
the age of 65.
During the 70’s, Bob was the man to
beat with numerous wins and titles
at tracks in the mid-atlantic area.
As great a racer as Bob was, his
character as a man was even greater.
He loved people and would enjoy
swapping racing stories with anyone.
Bob was also a man of great faith in
God and he shared that faith with
many people. But more importantly,
he walked the walk for others to
see. He will be truly missed by all
that knew him, loved him and
respected him.
