The ever-popular team format plus
the addition of a dedicated Friday
at the Junior Dragster Team Finals
has quickly given it the reputation
as one of the best all Junior races
in the country. This is a "must
attend" event that's loaded with
plenty of fun for Juniors of all
ages; an event that's equally
enjoyed by the families and friends
that join them too.
Again this year, all Junior racers
will be able to run both the Index
race and the ET race on Saturday at
no additional charge. Plus, there
will be a fun bonus Team Challenge
on Saturday with the winning team
earning their very own Pizza Party
with all the trimmings in one of the
Tower Suites.
Each year the Miller family and MIR
staff look forward to this race just
as much as those in attendance. From
Royce's Friday night water gun fight
to the actual awarding of the
Ironman trophies on Sunday - it's
all a huge blast! Each participating
track (can be IHRA, NHRA or
independent) can send up to three
teams of ten cars each (drivers must
be a registered points member at
their track).
The final day of qualifying for Team
MIR for the Team Finals will be June
23, 2012. Teams will consist of the
top 30 in points with #1-10 on “Team
1”, #11-20 on “Team 2” and #21-30 on
“Team 3”. If anyone in the MIR top
30 is unable to attend, everyone
below that spot will move up to the
next position.
For any racers outside the final top
30 that would like to participate,
there will be several tracks in the
area that are sending teams with
available spots on their rosters
that you could register with (you
may need to join their points
program to qualify). If you need any
help whatsoever to get on a team,
just give us a call at the MIR
office (301-884-9833) and we can
assist you from start to finish. The

mirdrag.com soon, so be sure to stay
