Attention all 5.99 (1/8 mile) and
quicker door cars - MIR is proud to
announce all new twin $5,000 to win
races for Top Sportsman with a
unique and new never before run
format. The race will be run at this
year's Door Wars on April 19-21. Two
separate fields of Top Sportsman
will compete for the $5,000 to win
purse each day. The Pro's will be
the Quickest 16 in qualifying each
day and the Joe's will be the rest
of the 5.99 and quicker field.

The Pro's will be placed on a 16 car ladder

$100 per round, round money starting with 1st round losers

The winner of the Pro's ladder runs the winner of the Joe's ladder for the $5,000 to win, $2,000 runner-up purse

First round losers of the Pro's can re-enter with the Joe's

All 5.99 and quicker entries that do not qualify for the Pro's Quick 16

All Joe's will race untill 16 or less and then go on the Joe's Sportsman ladder based on previous round reaction time

Random pairing will be used until placed on the ladder

Once on the ladder, $100 per round, round money starting with 1st round losers

The winner of the Joe's ladder runs the winner of the Pro's ladder for the $5,000 to win, $2,000 runner-up purse

All Joe first round losers can re-enter
