Contest to Raise

Hurst Tool to
Enhance Racer

On
Saturday,
June
16th at
the Top
ET 5K
Double
Header,
the EMT
staff
(headed
by Mike
Wills)
will be
holding
a Poker
Contest
to help
raise
money
for a
Jaws of
Life
Hurst
Tool to
enhance
racer
safety.
This
will be
a three
round
contest
with 50%
of
monies
collected
going to
the
winner
and the
other
50% will
go to
the fund
to
purchase
the
Hurst
Tool.
The
EMT's
have
found an
excellent
used
unit and
the cost
is
$4,000.
They
have
already
held a
boot
drive at
the
Mountain
Motor
Nationals
and
raised
$700,
but we
still
have a
ways to
go. The
Poker
Tent
will be
set up
in the
midway
near the
tower.
The
contest
is open
to all
drivers,
crew and
fans and
the cost
of each
hand
will be
$5. |
